More on the Red Threat Condition

The final level in our look at the Department of Homeland Security’s Threat Advisory System is the final Severe (Red) Threat Condition.  This Threat Condition indicates a severe risk of a terrorist attack and suggests a swift response.  This response is usually not meant last long but until the severe threat passes. This Website has all the details, but here are a few key points.

With a severe threat, organizations need to get their security and emergency response personnel in place so they can immediately respond to any actual attacks according the organization’s emergency plans.  Closing public and government facilities as well as taking steps to secure transportation systems are other parts of the plan, although they don’t apply every organization obviously.

If your company needs to add or upgrade your security system, contact us. We know the technology and principles to apply it appropriately to secure your facilities and personnel.
